Matteo SONZA REORDA was born in Ivrea (close to Torino, Italy) in 1961.
He attended the Liceo Classico C. Botta in Ivrea, and then the Politecnico di Torino (Torino, Italy), where he took his Master degree in Electronics in 1986.
In 1990 he took his PhD degree in Computer Science at the Politecnico di Torino.
Since 1990 he is with the Dipartimento di Automatica e Informatica of the Politecnico di Torino, where he currently is a Full Professor.
From 1992 to 1998 he has been one of the three Researchers' representatives in the Senato Accademico of the Politecnico di Torino. Since October 2005 he is a representative of Full Professors in the same body.
Between 1997 and 2006, he has been the Director of CeTeM, the
Politecnico di Torino center for distance learning education.
Currently, he is the President of CELM (the
Politecnico
di Torino center for e-learning and multimedia), and the responsible
for
the distance learning curricula towards the MS degree in Computer
Engineering, Electronics, and Telecommunications.
Since October 2005 he is one of the elected members of the Senato Accademico
of Politecnico di Torino.
